Terms of Service

QuickHostUK provides web hosting to clients worldwide, and we have a responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services available.

All clients of QuickHostUK are subject to the following:
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Service Level Agreement (SLA) and General Data Protection Regulation:


You agree to use all QuickHostUK services and facilities at your own risk. QuickHostUK specifically disclaims all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall QuickHostUK be liable for any loss, or loss of data, or other commercial damage, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential or other damages.

Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold QuickHostUK harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against QuickHostUK, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, it's agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless QuickHostUK against liabilities arising out of Any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with QuickHostUK's server.

QuickHostUK reserves the right to intervene with any of the sites hosted on its servers in the interest of its customers. Any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party Copyright infringement any defective products sold to customer from QuickHostUK's server. QuickHostUK shall be the sole judge of what violates this Policy.


At this time we bill monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually, depending upon the plan. We also offer Usage Billing on some plans. Usage billing allows us to offer products which contain variable priced items whose price is determined at the time of invoicing based on usage data. If you are not satisfied within your first 30 days we would be happy to provide you with a full refund (For some special offers the money-back-guaranteed day will be varied; and Domain Names registration fee is nonrefundable).

We accept Visa, Master Card & PayPal. Clients are encouraged to pay by credit/debit card as it is the easiest way to handle payment at this time. Their are no contract periods but for each successive period, your contract is automatically renewed unless we are notified otherwise.

Deployment Guarantee

Unless otherwise stated, QuickHostUK does not guarantee a deployment timeframe but will use reasonable endeavours to deploy the server(s) as described in your Services Description (the "Server(s)") promptly. QuickHostUK may, from time to time, agree to provide a guaranteed deployment timeframe (a "Deployment Guarantee") for an additional fee. Where such Deployment Guarantee is agreed, QuickHostUK will deploy the Server(s) by the date stated in the Hosting Services Agreement, provided that you promptly provide all information that we reasonably request from you to complete deployment. Servers are deemed deployed as of the time that QuickHostUK generates an email message to you that includes the information needed to allow you to transfer information to and from the Server(s). Your sole and exclusive remedy for our failure to meet the Deployment Guarantee shall be a credit equal to the amount of the fee paid for the Deployment Guarantee service. You are not entitled to a credit if you request orcause the deployment delay. This Deployment Guarantee does not apply to any software, other managed services, or hardware devices other than the Server(s). If you request (orally or in writing) that we deploy your servers by a specific date or on an "expedited" basis for no additional fee, then the Deployment Guarantee shall not apply, and we commit only to using reasonable endeavours to deploy the Server(s) by the date requested.

Acceptable Use Policy

All services provided by QuickHostUK may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless QuickHostUK and its employees from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party. Our acceptable use policy is actively and strictly enforced. Offending content or users are suspended from our network, usually as soon as they are discovered, although we will always inform you when and why any action has been taken.

Unlimited web hosting disk space is for website files only. This excludes email which is limited to 2GB per mailbox. This also exclides any other files that are not part of the website such as backup files. Backup files should be downloaded localaly.

Our VPS and Dedicated Servers use a Fair Use Policy (FUP) to control the amount of network traffic. The FUP aims to prevent overload of the network, abuse and inconvenience to other users. Overloading the network and inconvenience to other customers may be caused by individual users who use much more traffic than the average of similar customers. QuickHostUK reserves the right to monitor the amount of data traffic and filter excesses. Under normal circumstances, there is no overusage of data traffic. If the amount of network traffic differs significantly from the average, QuickHostUK will contact the customer about how to normalize the usage. If the customer does not normalize his consumption, QuickHostUK can block (temporarily) network traffic or charge the customer.

Subscriber acknowledges that the service provided is of such a nature that service can be interrupted for many reasons other than the negligence of the company and that damages resulting from any interruption of service are difficult to ascertain. Therefore, subscriber agrees that the company shall not be liable for any damages arising from such causes beyond the direct and exclusive control of the company.

Subscriber further acknowledges that the company's liability for its own negligence may not in any event exceed an amount equivalent to charges payable by subscriber for services during the period damages occurred. In no event shall the company be liable for any special or consequential damages, loss or injury.

Illegality In any form, including but not limited to the unauthorized distribution or copying of copyrighted software or other data, harassment, fraud, trafficking in obscene material. Undesirable Content Certain types of content are not allowed on our network. Content relating to Hacking, Cracking, Warez and IRC is not allowed. Software, audio and video downloads may only be hosted if you are the writer and copyright owner of the resources or you have a right to distribute the materials. Accounts suspended due to content or AUP violation are not refunded under any circumstances.


Your first invoice will include: (i) a Setup Fee (if applicable); (ii) a One Time Fee (if applicable); (iii) a monthly recurring fee; and (iv) a Pre Pay Service(s) fee (if applicable). The monthly recurring fee shall be prorated from the Service Commencement Date to the last day of the calendar month (subject to any free time as agreed between you and QuickHostUK). We may require you to make a payment ahead of the Service Commencement Date (an "Upfront Payment"). We will offset such Upfront Payment against the initial invoice(s) that we raise against your account. Following Service Commencement Date, the monthly recurring fee shall be billed in advance at the beginning of each calendar month. "Utility Fee”, which refers to those fees that apply to Services priced on usage, such as Virtual Machines, email and apps, bandwidth charges and overages, shall be billed monthly in arrears. If we agree to you prepaying for the whole or any part of the term, such prepay amount is exclusive of all Utility Fees. The term Utility Fees may be used interchangeably with the term “Non-Recurring Fees”.

If you use QuickHostUK’s virtualisation services, your virtual server(s) will be active on the Service Commencement Date. Following the Service Commencement Date you are responsible for managing the active or inactive status of your virtual servers via your MyQuickHostUK portal. QuickHostUK will invoice you for your virtual service in arrears based on the number of calendar days in each billing period that your virtual servers are set to "active". You will be charged a full day’s rate regardless of whether your virtual servers are set to "active" for a full or partial day.

Fees are due within five (5) days of invoice date. If you have arranged for payment by credit card or direct debit, QuickHostUK may charge your card or account on or after the invoice date.

If any amount is overdue by more than seven (7) days, QuickHostUK may:

charge interest on overdue amounts at 1.5% per month;

suspend all Services, and services provided pursuant to any unrelated agreement, if you do not pay the overdue amount within four (4) Business Days of our written notice to your billing contact. You agree that if your Services are reinstated after a suspension for non-payment, you will pay a reasonable reinstatement fee.

In the event QuickHostUK brings a legal action to collect due to late payment of valid invoices, you must also pay QuickHostUK’s costs of collection, including reasonable legal fees, expenses and court costs.

If your payment is returned for insufficient funds, we may charge you an administration fee up to the maximum amount permitted by law.

All payments will be made in the currency in the Services Description at the exchange rate at the date of the invoice.

Invoices that are not disputed within one (1) year of invoice date are conclusively deemed accurate.

Fee Increases

Increase in Consumer Price Index. If during the initial term or any renewal term there is an increase in the Consumer Price Index as published by the National Office for Statistics over the Consumer Price Index reported for the month in which you signed your Agreement, we may increase your fees by the same percentage as the increase in the Consumer Price Index; provided that we may not increase your fees under this subsection more often than once per twelve (12) months.

Increase after expiry of Term. If following the expiration of the initial term or any renewal term you do not sign a renewal of your Agreement, but continue to use your Services on a rolling one (1) month basis, then we may increase your fees at any time by any amount, in our sole discretion, on thirty (30) days advance written notice.

Third Party License Fees. In the event that a third party license provider increases the fee they charge QuickHostUK for your use of such license, we will increase your fees by the same percentage amount, provided we notify you in writing at least thirty (30) days before the effective date of the price increase.

Service Management

While your services are in an "inactive" status we will not install any software updates that we may have otherwise agreed to install. We will update your services when you return them to "active" status, but there could be a delay of up to twenty four (24) hours before the updates are fully installed.

Vulnerability Testing

Vulnerability testing services involve inherent risks, such as data corruption and impaired performance of your Hosted System. If you ask QuickHostUK to provide vulnerability testing services, then you agree that QuickHostUK is not liable to you for any damages arising from the performance of the Services as agreed.

Unsupported Configuration Elements Or Services

If you ask us to implement a configuration element (hardware or software) or hosting service in a manner that is not customary at QuickHostUK, or that is in "end of life" or "end of support" status we may designate the element or service as "unsupported", "non-standard", "best efforts", "reasonable endeavours", "one-off", "EOL", "End of Support", or with like term in the Services Description (referred to in this Section as an "Unsupported Service"). QuickHostUK makes no representation or warranty whatsoever regarding Unsupported Service so designated, and you agree that QuickHostUK shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from the provision of the Unsupported Service. The Service Level Guarantees shall not apply to the Unsupported Service, or any other aspect of the Hosting Services that is adversely affected by the Unsupported Service. You acknowledge that Unsupported Services may not interoperate with QuickHostUK’s other services, such as backup or monitoring.

IP Addresses

Upon termination of the Agreement you must promptly release any Internet protocol numbers, addresses or address blocks assigned to you in connection with the Services (but not any URL or top level domain or domain name) and you agree that we may take steps to change or remove any such IP addresses.

Limitation of Liability

QuickHostUK shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from QuickHostUK servers going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Furthermore, QuickHostUK shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any web site from one of QuickHostUK servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service.


QuickHostUK cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss. We cannot be held liable for any predicted estimate of profits in which a client would have gained if their site was functioning. Certain services provided by QuickHostUK are resold. Thus, certain equipment, routing, software, and programming used by QuickHostUK are not directly owned or written by QuickHostUK. Moreover, QuickHostUK holds no responsibility for the use of our clients accounts. If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed, the account in question will be automatically deactivated. We reserve the right to remove any account without advanced notice for any reason without restitution as QuickHostUK sees fit. FURTHERMORE, QuickHostUK retains the right to change any or all of the above Policies, Guidelines, and Disclaimer without notification.
